Frequently Asked Questions:

1) 8th Graders move up to EDGE?  What is this about?  Every year we allow 8th graders to come up to EDGE after Easter. We know how many changes and challenges there are in the Fall, so we like to help 8th graders have one less change in their life at that time.  Moving them up early gives them a chance to get to know the leaders, the students and the differences of the high school program.
PLEASE NOTE: 5th graders, moving up to middle school and 12th graders moving up to college will happen after June 14th…
2) Why the Change of Day and Time? In a survey a few months ago, we received unanimous confirmation that Sunday night is the best night for families. We also heard from students, parents and leaders who requested we finish a little earlier too. Therefore, the program begins at 5:30pm for both middle and high school. middle school ends at 7:30pm, while high school ends at 8pm. For students who are in middle school and have a high school sibling to wait for, they can hang out in the cafe, get snacks and drinks, play games until 8pm.
3) What is the Cafe? Students can get snacks and drinks (for a small donation), and play all kinds of games in the cafe on Sunday evenings. The cafe is for high school students in the first half of the evening, while middle school students get to hang out there in the last part of their evening.
4) CORE and EDGE meet together now? Nope. They will meet at the same time, but will be in different locations in the building.
